As the regular mens season drew to a close there was still a Mid Ulster Football Association Youth Cup to be decided as the Under 18's of Dungannon Swifts FC and Glenavon FC went head to head at Stangmore Park in the final of this years competition.

With both sides well known for producing a high standard of football this was destined to be a close encounter.
