Green Day was rushed off stage mid-performance during a concert in Detroit, purportedly after an "American Idiot" flew an unauthorized drone over the venue.

The band were mid-performance of their hit "Longview" at Comerica Park before a member of security ran onto stage, causing the group to promptly make their exits. A few moments of silence were followed by a message on the video screen to attendees: "Show pause. Please standby for details."
