I created this song in the middle of the night because I couldn’t sleep.

My dad was heavy on my mind and even heavier on my heart.

I was supposed to fly to Puerto Rico on Monday to see him for the first time since I was 16 years old. I was going to hug him again, talk face-to-face, and feel like his baby one more time.

I love my dad deeply. No matter the years or the distance, we always found our way back to each other with love, forgiveness, and understanding.
