Overcoming Unfair Treatment at Work & Job Shortage — Trust God and Build What He Gave You
Are you experiencing unfair treatment at your job, constant rejection, layoffs, or struggling to find employment? Many people today are dealing with toxic workplaces, disrespectful bosses, low pay, and being rejected for being “overqualified.” It can feel confusing and discouraging when you know your worth but doors keep closing.
In times like these, many people begin to wonder: What should I do next?
The truth is — you cannot put all your eggs in one basket. In today’s world especially, relying on one job alone can be risky. Even if you work a 9-5, you must begin thinking about your 5-9. God has given many of you ideas, gifts, and visions that were never meant to be ignored.
Some of you are working hard every day building someone else’s dream while the vision God gave you is sitting inside of you waiting to grow. Do not die making someone else’s vision rich while your God-given purpose is neglected. Even if you do not plan on becoming a full-time entrepreneur, you never know how far your business, idea, or talent can go when God places His favor on it.
God Sees the Unfair Treatment
When you are treated badly at work or rejected over and over, it can feel personal. But God sees everything. He sees the unfair boss, the closed doors, the rejection emails, and the stress of not knowing what comes next. Sometimes God allows certain doors to close because He wants to redirect you to something greater. What feels like rejection can actually be divine protection and redirection.
Instead of putting full trust in a job or employer, put your trust in God first. Jobs can come and go, but God remains constant. He is the one who gives wisdom, strategy, and the power to create wealth.
You Need Multiple Streams and Faith
In this season, many people are realizing they cannot rely on one paycheck alone. Having a side business, skill, or additional income stream is not just wise — it is necessary. God may be calling you to start something small that will grow into something great. Do not despise small beginnings. What starts as a simple idea or side hustle can become a major blessing over time.
King Solomon asked God for wisdom instead of riches, and God gave him both wisdom and wealth. When you seek God first and ask for wisdom, He can guide you into opportunities and strategies that lead to provision and success.

Keep Moving Forward
If you are facing job rejection, unfair treatment, or financial uncertainty, do not lose hope. Pray for wisdom daily. Ask God to guide your decisions, open new doors, and bless the work of your hands. Begin working on the gifts and ideas God placed inside you. Even if it starts small, stay consistent and faithful.
Your current job does not define your future. God can take you far beyond what you can imagine. He can turn your ideas into income, your gifts into provision, and your vision into something powerful. Stay faithful, stay wise, and trust God through the process.
Your breakthrough may come from a direction you never expected.
