(1953) Lieutenant George Kirby is a New York City detective whose jurisdiction appears to cover a wide area. Whether it's murderers or thieves, he approaches every situation prepared to deal violently with the criminals.

COWBOY AND THE BLIND MAN: A friend from the west asks Kirby to investigate a threat to a girl in a nightclub sharpshooting act, which leads to a creepy blind song plugger, blackmail and a few murders.

HUSBAND AND WIFE MURDER STORY: A man and woman stage some boisterous fights to get noticed. It turns out to be a cover for the woman's husband murder. Lt. Kirby must find the proof to put the kilers behind bars.
