(1961) Dick and Penny Cooper are married but can't afford their own home. They decide to move in with Penny's parents, Barney and Mildred Hogan; and her grandparents, Charley and Lovey Hackett. The stories revolve around the troubles that occur when generations clash.

Because Dick has worked for the weather bureau he's given the opportunity to present the weather on local TV. Everyone tells Dick that he'll be a natural but things don't go as expected.
