Kidney stones are the most common health disorder associated with the urinary system. Definition: kidney stones, are hard fragments, of mineral also known as renal calculi, nephrolithiasis, or urolithiasis, which are characterized by the formation of solid deposits composed of minerals and salts inside the tissues of the kidneys. Kidney stones can be caused by a variety of factors, including poor diet, excess body weight, certain medical conditions, and certain drugs and supplements.
