This song is about the beautiful Mother Mary. After traveling a long journey and giving birth to baby Jesus, I picture her being tired as she lay down next to her baby — glad that the birth was over, yet pleasantly pleased to have accomplished the task Father in heaven gave her — to be the mother of the Savior of the world. As Mary pondered what she had done, she felt a Bethlehem breeze come across her brow! It was like God Himself was letting Mary know how please He was with what she had accomplished and sent a beautiful Bethlehem breeze as His comfort and loving approval of her selfless sacrifice.
