Charles McKinley (1850–1894) was buried in Glynn Church of Ireland Graveyard, Larne, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. His wife, Mary Jane McKinley, erected the memorial after he accidentally lost his life on Queen's Island, Belfast, on April 23, 1894, at age 44. The gravestone also commemorates her sister, Agnes Moore (d. 1877), and her husband, Hugh Moore (d. 1878). The marker is a recumbent block of polished granite.
