Billy Meredith (30 July 1874 – 19 April 1958) was a Welsh footballer widely regarded as one of the first true superstars of footbal. Known as “The Welsh Wizard,” he played primarily as a right winger and became famous for his dribbling, crossing, and longevity in the game.
