And also, we want to share our version of a Moroccaninspired pizza. It's a fusion of Moroccan and American flavors, with toppings like peanuts, onion, beef, chickpeas, and some sweet fruits. The recipe makes six pita pizzas, and the dough is made with almond milk, egg, olive oil, Greek yogurt, and allpurpose flour. The filling includes beef, apple and orange slices, chickpeas, and more. You can also make tomato sauce with paste, olive oil, lemon juice, and maple syrup. Finally, top it off with some Colby Jack cheese, jalapenos, olives, sweet cooked fruits, and fresh mint.

Servings: Six Pita Pizzas
For this recipe, you will need a mixing bowl, a whisk, measuring cups and spoons, a rolling pin, a grill or grill pan, and a knife. In addition to the tools I mentioned, you may need a cutting board, a garlic press, a skillet, and a small bowl for the pizza sauce.
Ingredients for pita bread:
3/4 cup warm almond milk with one teaspoon of lemon juice.
One large egg, room temperature
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon sea salt
One tablespoon of pure maple syrup
1/4 cup of Greek yogurt
3 cups (260 grams) all-purpose flour
2 1/4 teaspoons instant baker yeast
Lard and cornmeal for the grill
Ingredients for pizza filling:
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 cup raw peanuts
1/2 cup red onions, diced
1/4 teaspoon ginger
2 cloves garlic, minced
Apple lemon juice from cooking the apples
1/2 cup mini peppers
1 tablespoon olive oil
8 oz beef, skirt steak, or flat iron beef, cut into small bite-sized pieces
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup apple slices, cooked
1/2 cup orange slices
1/2 cup chickpeas (garbanzo beans)
Ingredients for pizza sauce:
8 ounces tomato paste
12 ounces water
2 teaspoons olive oil
1 teaspoon of lemon juice
1 teaspoon of maple syrup
Add all the ingredients to a small bowl except water, whisk until blended, then add water slowly until the desired viscosity. (Marinara is thinner, and tomato sauce is thicker, similar to gravy.
Pita-pizza's Final Toppings:
Colby Jack Cheese
Diced jalapenos
Black or green olives
Fresh mint, if desired

Roll out individual pizzas, add sauce, then the filling, top with the final toppings, and grill until golden brown on one side for 5 minutes.
Flip and add pizza filling, and grill for 4 minutes more.
