On December 18th, 2025 a Cessna 550 Citation twin jet carrying, NASCAR legend Greg Biffle, his wife Cristina, daughter Emma and son Ryder and 3 others all perished when attempting an emergency landing shortly after take off. This video is a tribute to Biffle's achievements in racing as well as his efforts to assist in resue and to bring essential supplies for those stuck following Hurricane Helene. This is when Biffle became close friends with Cleetus McFarland, the two had spent a lot of time together over the past 18 months or so. In fact thats where the Biffle's were headed to when the tragic accident occurred.
Greg Biffle is a former Nascar Cup Series, O'Riely Auto Parts Series, Craftsman Truck Series, ARCA Series and late model driver who competed from 1996-2022. He was the first driver to win a championship in both Craftsman Truck Series and O'Riely Auto Parts Series. Also a winner in the top 3 forms of Nascar. Finishing inside the top 10 in final Cup Series point standings 6 times, making the playoffs 7 times. Retiring from full-time competition following the 2016 season after Roush Fenway Racing was a shell of its former self.
In 2019 after not making a start in the Craftsman Truck Series in 15 years, Biffle hopped into Kyle Busch Motorsports #51 Toyota making a one off start at Texas in the spring. Starting 6th, leading 18 laps on his way to victory. Also returning to the Nascar Cup Series in 2022, making 5 starts for NY Racing. Posting a best finish of 20th in Atlanta in the spring.
