In this video, we look at how the turn of the century Nascar Cup Series would have been if Darrell Waltrip would have driven his final few years for Dale Earnhardt Incorporated. Though in this timeline Dale Earnhardt survives the Daytona accident. Everything else was the same as what happened in reality, they just formed a second team earlier for Darrell Waltrip to continue driving for the team following his excellent performance while filling in for the injured Steve Park.

Beginning in 2000, Dale Earnhardt Jr moves up to the Cup Series just the same as he did. Also considering the much higher quality of equipment that DEI had to offer in comparison with Haas-Carter Motorsports, Waltrip was able to be so much more competitive. Including several more victories, top 10 points finishes and just all around much improved results.

Now in the next episode, part 3, we will look at how Nascar would have been if Earnhardt was still around and involved with the sport. Thank you for watching and I hope you enjoy this trip down Splash&Go Racing's alternate timeline memory lane.
