Jimmie Johnson is a semi retired NASCAR Cup Series and Xfinity Series driver, who competed from 1999-2024. He is one of only 3 drivers to ever even come close to winning 7 Nascar Cup Series championships. He spent his entire Cup Series career driving for HMS. His former Crew Chief, Chad Knaus won all 7 championships along with over 80 Cup Series victories alongside Johnson. After a legendary NASCAR career, Johnson made the switch to go to Indycar racing for 2022 and 23, finding that he was not very competitive in the much lighter, really all around much different Indycar. For the 2023 season, Johnson would make the switch back to NASCAR. Where he would enter into a business partnership with Maury Gallagher to form Legacy Motor Club.
