Jody Ridley is a former Nascar Cup Series, Xfinity Series and All Pro Series driver who competed from 1966-2001. Like many drivers, Ridley got his start racing on local short tracks in the southeast.


Ridley finally joined the Nascar Cup Series full time in 1980, winning Rookie of the Year honors that season. The fpllowing season in 1981, he won his only career Nascar Cip Series event of his career. By 1987, he had joined the Nascar All Pro Series full time where he would win dozens of races and 6 championships.
