Rudd Performance Motorsports is a former Nascar Cup Series race team, owned and driven by Ricky Rudd who competed from 1994-1999. This was one of the more successful owner/driver operations in the Nascar Cup Series. Finding success immediately finishing 5th in Cup Series point standings in their first season. The most notable victory Rudd Performance Motorsports would score was the 1997 Brickyard 400.

As the decade drew on and the costs to run a competitive operation continued to rise. By 1998 the success that the team had found was gone and at the conclusion of a dismal 1999 Nascar Cup Series season that saw him break his streak of consecutive years in which he at least won at least one. At this point he auctioned off all equipment and decided to go back to only driving racecars not owning them.
