NASCAR'S LOST TEAMS: STEWART HAAS RACING

Stewart Haas Racing is a former NASCAR Cup Series and Xfinity Series race team, owned by Tony Stewart and Gene Haas, that competed from 2009-2024. Tony Stewart, Ryan Newman, Danica Patrick, Kevin Harvick, Cole Custer, Clint Bowyer, Kurt Busch, Aric Almirola, Chase Briscoe, Riley Herbst, Ryan Preece, Josh Berry and Noah Gragson all spent time behind the wheel of one of Stewart Haas Racing's race cars throughout the team's existence. The team was very successful, winning two Nascar Cup Series championships with Stewart in 2011 and Harvick in 2014, then Cole Custer won the Xfinity Series championship in 2023. They closed down at the conclusion of the 2024 Nascar season, Gene Haas will field the Haas Factory Team starting in 2025.
