Alan Kulwicki was a former Nascar Cup Series and ASA Series owner/driver who competed from 1979-1993. An engineer turned driver, he always would focus and setups. Even though he had a bit of an underfunded team he typically found a way to compensate for the difference through his engineering background.
Winning the 1992 Nascar Cup Series championship along with 5 Cup Series races. Losing his life in a helicopter accident in Tennessee in 1993, on his way back from an appearance at a Knoxville Hooters. This underdog story takes you through adversity, tragedy and triumph.
