M.C. Anderson is a former Nascar Cup Series owner who's team, M.C. Anderson Racing competed from 1976-1982. Even though the team's life span was relatively short, they were successful, fielding cars for a few notable drivers such as Buddy Baker, Benny Parsons and Cale Yarborough.

After finding success with Yarborough in 1981, in 1982 Anderson asked him to return to full time competition so he and the team could run for the points championship. When Yarborough refused, Anderson promptly decided at the conclusion of the 1982 Nascar Cup Series season he would sell his team. That's exactly what he did, selling it to Raymond Beadle.
