In Episode 3 of GTA 5, Michael and Franklin’s newfound partnership is put to the test when Michael’s past comes back to haunt him in the worst way possible. With debt collectors breathing down his neck and a life of luxury slipping away, Michael realizes there’s only one way out—getting back into the game.

Backstory & Setup:

After their chaotic mansion raid, Michael and Franklin find themselves in hot water. Simeon Yetarian is furious about his ruined business deal, and Michael’s explosive temper has left him in the sights of some very dangerous people. Meanwhile, Franklin is beginning to see a different side of life, one where money and power are just a heist away.

Then comes the bombshell—Michael’s reckless actions have put his entire family in danger. A powerful cartel-connected loan shark, Martin Madrazo, wants payback for damages Michael caused, and he isn’t the kind of man who takes IOUs. With no other options, Michael decides it’s time to do what he does best: plan a heist.

Michael calls in an old contact, Lester Crest, a brilliant but reclusive hacker who still has a few tricks up his sleeve. Their target? A high-end jewelry store in the heart of Los Santos. The reward is massive, but the risks? Even bigger.

With Franklin eager to prove himself, the team starts making preparations, scoping out security, stealing getaway vehicles, and choosing the best approach. Will they go in quiet and calculated, or will they storm the store guns blazing? Either way, once the plan is in motion, there’s no backing down.
