THE LEGEND OF GABRIEL JONAS continues...
Gabriel Lee Jonas, a condemned prisoner, residing at Sisiska Penitentiary doing hard time and awaiting execution. Just like what happened with Tawnya Burke, Jonas gets set free by a mysterious man known only as Horley. Horley and two other men decide to ambush a Sisiska prison transfer wagon carrying Jonas and a few other prisoners in tow. Horley pleads with the two prison guards at gunpoint to surrender and release all the prisoners so they can escape, but tells Jonas to stay because he and his employer have a special interest in him.
When Jonas is officially released, Horley tells Jonas to come with him to meet Jessica Le Clerk, the vengeful and widowed wife of a man that was murdered by four adversaries. She has a mutual interest in the newly-escaped Jonas. In exchange for her retribution, Madame Le Clerk offers Jonas an opportunity to carve out a living for himself as a reformed outlaw and gun-for-hire prowling the vast expense while engaging in multiple opportunities to make money from bounty hunting, moonshining, even a trading business where he can hunt for animals and sell the animal skins and pelts for profit. Jonas also encounters very interesting characters from working with multiple law-enforcement too very important figures, including an Italian mob figure with political ties who wants a form of "black market" currency notes called "Capitale" taken completely out of circulation as well as recouping three precious gems which would pay Jonas handsomely, a traveling, nomadic gypsy woman, a seasoned veteran moonshine maven who had been left for dead, and a hobo-like character who sells Jonas on a lucrative venture trading animal skins and pelts.
Gabriel Jonas eventually forms his own posse known as the notorious Jonas Bunch engaged in all manner of outlaw exploits whether honorable and dishonorable.
