SawX is the tenth installment in the Saw franchise, and is scheduled to open in theatres on September 29, 2023. To promote the movie's release, Lionsgate brought Saw to the Midsummer Scream convention for the first time ever! Midsummer Scream is the world's largest Halloween and Horror Convention and was held at the Long Beach Convention Center from July 28th through the 30th this year. During the convention, guests were invited to “explore the horrific, unnerving, and unforgettable world of the Saw movies.” In addition, a panel presentation featured a discussion on the legacy of the SAW franchise and some eye catching sneak peeks of SawX with the director and production team, moderated by Daily Dead's Heather Wixson.
