🇵🇪 PERU… WHAT AN ADVENTURE! 🇵🇪

What a trip! From the energy and incredible food of Lima, to the ancient streets and high altitude of Cusco, and finally to one of the biggest bucket-list destinations in the world… Machu Picchu! 🏔️

This wasn’t exactly a sit-by-the-pool vacation. 😂

We explored Lima, wandered through Cusco at over 11,000 feet, traveled through the Sacred Valley, and then took on the incredible hike into Machu Picchu. Miles of ancient Inca trails, 600-year-old stone steps, steep climbs, wet rocks, sheer drops into the valleys below, and some absolutely unreal scenery along the way.

And then you finally come through the mountains and see Machu Picchu in person. Pictures simply don’t prepare you for it. After working that hard to get there, standing above the ruins and looking across the Andes made it even more incredible.

Peru gave us history, adventure, amazing food, altitude, exhaustion, a few moments of questioning our life choices 😂… and memories we’ll be talking about forever.

From Lima ➡️ Cusco ➡️ the Sacred Valley ➡️ the Inca Trail ➡️ MACHU PICCHU 🇵🇪🥾⛰️

Definitely one for the bucket list. And definitely one we earned! ❤️
