We spent an unforgettable *July 4th weekend at Purtis Creek State Park—a peaceful, lakeside escape just 1 hour from Dallas! After camping under the stars, we road-tripped to Tyler, TX to revisit West Tyler RV Park (where I stayed for 3 months) and picked up a *much-needed front jack for our trailer. Fueled by *Rudy’s BBQ brisket, we hiked Purtis Creek’s trails, relaxed by the water, and capped the night at the Galaxy Drive-In Theatre (with 9 screens!). Finally, we celebrated my daughter’s birthday in Dallas—making memories all weekend long!
