Welcome back to Part 2 of our stay at Styx River RV Resort in Baldwin County, Alabama—this one had a little bit of everything!

I attempted to head over to a city park disc golf course in Loxley, Alabama, but quickly ran into a road closure with no way out until later in the afternoon 😳 Plans changed, and we postponed the round for another day.

That evening turned into a great one anyway with a cookout back at the RV—grilled chicken and some awesome sides from the Derailed Diner.

The next morning, I grabbed breakfast at the Derailed Diner (definitely recommend!), and I finally made it out to play disc golf in Loxley.

Since it was Valentine’s Day, I surprised Emmy with some roses while she was at work 🌹

Our last night brought some serious weather—a severe storm rolled through the park, and things got wild. Our neighbor’s tent was nearly blown away, only being saved by the sewer hose! At one point, it even ended up on top of his travel trailer 😳

To wrap up our stay, I grilled some sausage my brother brought from Texas, and we reflected on what an amazing 5-day trip this was. Styx River RV Resort is truly becoming our new home away from home.
