We head out up the Mississppi River cooridoor to investiage a small town haunting in Salem Illinois. Situated just east of the Mississppi in the heartland of small town America lies the Salem Hospital House. According to history with the only records left are accounts of when this home was built. Salem encounted a massive flood in 1940 that would devestate the town and cause all records to be completely lost forever. According to archetecture style and stories from the previous generations it is estimated to have been built in the 1860's and served for a number of different reasons including being Lincoln Counties 3rd hospital then becoming a funeral home a nursing home followed with becoming a rental home and now being owned by Alan Whitmore of Paratronics.
