An excellent flight to check the historic Red Bridge which was arson destroyed just 2 days prior to my flight. It was very depressing news and sad to see the result.

The main reason was to see South Thompson River water level at the end of summer. It was not very encouraging. It is low. I flew to Chase, a small village with a big lake, which is the starting point of our south river. Strong, but steady wind kept any thermal turbulence away. The view of nature in the low morning sun shining from the back was spectacular. I had 165 km of solid fun.
