A beautiful flight across some of the finest scenery in the Kamloops region. After many attempts, the rock needle of Buse Hill finally opened a rare window to fly close. The air was calm enough to enjoy every detail. The Campbell Creek valley is a place to appreciate from any angle, road or sky. A strong flight overall, with only a few sudden bursts of turbulence hiding in the air pockets.

A perfect day for flying and checking the season’s end at Sun Peaks, the second largest ski area in Canada. I chose a slightly longer route, heading through the small town of Barriere and then approaching Sun Peaks from the southeast “back door.” It was a very enjoyable, 188 km long flight.
