This was one of the best flights of my life. Perfect flying conditions and breathtaking nature made my day unforgettable. I passed over Harper Ski Hill and made two loops above Paul Lake. That area was still in the grip of full-blown winter, even though the temperature was +7°C, warmer than it had been at the airport during my takeoff. I spotted people ice fishing and was amazed by the spectacular patterns created by ice fishing activities and natural ice cracks.
From there, I ventured off the beaten path, exploring several areas before arriving in Pritchard. This marked the start of my most popular flying corridor as I headed back toward Kamloops. The South Thompson River valley is a stunning natural masterpiece, perfectly complementing my joyful flight.
Finally, I soared above Kamloops City, flying in all the key landmarks. Of course, I couldn’t miss my absolute favorite, the Thompson River sandbars. What a super day it was!
