This is the second leg of my 230 km (143 mi) flight to the Highland Valley Copper Mine. The video offers a truly unique aerial perspective of the largest open-pit copper mine in Canada. It's breathtaking to witness the structural elegance of the precisely engineered spiral roads that descend into the heart of the massive, funnel-shaped pits. Equally fascinating are the material dumps, arranged in meticulous patterns that resemble pimple-like formations across the landscape.
After exploring the mine, I continued on to the Tunkwa and Leighton Lakes recreational areas—popular destinations for camping and outdoor fun.
