Excellent spring-like weather could not be wasted, so I had to go flying. I followed the always beautiful South Thompson River Valley east, then turned north toward the eastern back door of Sun Peaks. Sun Peaks is the second largest ski resort in Canada, a perfect playground for year round outdoor activities. The flight was full of shifting weather conditions that kept me alert so nothing would get out of hand. The trip went from absolutely no trace of snow to full winter in just thirty minutes.
