It was an adventure of adventures, one that will stay with me for a long time. I was surprised by the terrain complexity and by the high mountain ridges still fully covered with snow. The main features were Barriere, North Barriere Lake, Adams Lake, Sun Peaks, Heffley Lakes, and everything else along my 255 km (158 mi) route.
Adams Lake, a 65 km (40 mi) long and very deep lake, is an impressive landmark. The 2023 wildfire scars have permanently marked its banks. Another highlight was seeing Sun Peaks without snow, viewed from the east side.
