[02:59-03:21]

leo musk is now a trillionaire, i find, uh, I have mixed feelings about that. Like, I don't want laws to say you are not allowed to be and you should be able to kind of pursue whatever you want. But I do think, on the other hand, it's corrupt, it's greed, it's just one of the deadly sins. It's too much money for one person.

[03:21-03:43]

But it's hard for me to kind of think we should legislate that out of, out of existence. so it's a very weird, uh kind of conundrum there. i'm not sure where i fall on that. i don't like billionaires, i don't like any of them. but, uh, on the same token, i don't, i don't think we should do anything to stop them.

[03:43-04:19]

it's, it's a very strange thing. so, uh, tell me about, uh, the phrase billionaireism do you think it's? uh, because when i was a kid, There used to be a show called The Millionaire and it was about a guy who went and gave people a million dollars and it would ruin their lives every single time. Billionaireism, you think it's a thing where people aspire to be billionaires or they just aspire to be wealthy or be successful, and as they make more money, they can't stop getting more money.

[04:19-04:49]

so i i see it as hoarding. so we all know that hoarding is a mental illness. we have the tv show, we can see how how that mental illness affects the individual and affects their family. but billionaireism, the hoarding, is at a level that affects every single one of us and it affects the planet. so wow, yeah, i never thought of it that way, but that's a good way to look at it. it's hoarding money, it's hoarding wealth and power.

[04:49-04:56]

yeah, Bill Maher was commenting on Billie Eilish, the singer.

[05:49-06:11]

I think it was Maslow who talked about studying monkeys. and if scientists were studying a troop of monkeys and one monkey was hoarding all of the bananas While the rest of the troops starved, the scientists would think there was something wrong with that monkey. But in society we don't look at billionaires and go: oh, there's something really wrong with that person, Right.

[07:56-08:31]

so it's my understanding- and correct me if i'm wrong- that you have, uh, had some second psychedelic therapy in your life I have, yeah, It's quite a long story, I'll shorten it. So, yes, I have had definitely more than my share of major traumas, including sexual assault and growing up in poverty. And in 2018 I've always been the kind of person who deals with my stuff by by just stuffing it down and not dealing with it, which is not very healthy.

[08:32-09:01]

I've always, just, you know, put on a strong face. But in 2018 things just kind of started bubbling to the surface and I became suicidal. And I have tried talk therapy and antidepressants and the usual things that most people do, And nothing was helping me.

[09:01-09:28]

And I knew that if I didn't get some kind of help, that I was not going to be around for very long. And I was very fortunate. I met someone who had been in therapy, the place that I was in, and he was able to refer me to an underground psychedelic assisted therapist. And I say underground because it is not legal in the US to practice psychedelic assisted therapy.

[09:28-09:38]

So I was very fortunate to find somebody and she was able to get me in fairly quickly, And I truly believe that she saved my life.

[10:16-10:55]

um I I just that I just thought that was silly but uh I think I feel I I think a lot of us who have feel that way like I have gotten more than my fair share but uh it's hard to really quantify that but uh you said something in there about psychedelic therapy not being legal in the U.S not anywhere because I thought like you're Oregon or somewhere in the Pacific Washington state somewhere no Yeah, so I'm not a hundred percent sure, but I believe that Colorado and Oregon are decriminalized and working towards legalizing the therapy.
