Andy Andrist performs comedy at the Ukrainian frontline, bringing laughter amidst the chaos of war.

We thought we'd go to the front and do comedy, kind of like, I guess, Good Morning Vietnam, when Robin Williams stops. Hello, Hey, you, You know all that If an audience gathers at the front, they will get blown up. so, wow, it's. uh. so you go to each individual soldier and do your routine. i well, there was. there was 4 soldiers, with us 2 in each car, and then we went to the front. there was more soldiers there. but, you know, just people come out of brush, uh, say hello, and uh, yeah, i got. i did get some solid laughs, but it involved, you know, blowing artillery and falling down and, uh, humping one of the soldiers. So I was definitely not doing bits, But it was fun. That was, you know, kind of an interesting dynamic to be there, not understand much of what's being said and make them laugh, Just being, you know. but I think that being funny on the front line isn't really safe, for very you could be the funny guy on the front line for, like I did In-N-Out. So I guess comedy on the front line is like kill or be killed.
