GD emphasizes the importance of hard work and expresses gratitude to Sunshine for the Iraq trip.

It, it So I think you gotta put in the work and you gotta love it. Yeah. I just, I just wanted to put this in real quick. Uh, Sunshine just wanted to thank you for going to Iraq. She said her son went there. Oh, my pleasure. Thank you for your service. My pleasure. I did no service.

[112:03-112:15]

Dustin reflects on performing for the troops in Iraq, stating it was the best part of his comedy career.

I, you know, I just said dick jokes in a microphone, but those guys are really, you know That, that was the best part of my comedy career, anything I've ever done. Those are probably the moments that you were talking about earlier, like what people say after the show.

[112:15-112:45]

Dustin explains how comedy brought comfort and a sense of normalcy to young soldiers in the war zone.

That, that, those are probably the best moments when you got these kids are out there, you know, 18, 19, you know, just 20 years old, just in the middle of the desert, you know. There's bombs and crazy stuff. They don't know if they're gonna come back. And then you get to get up there and do a joke about McDonald's or something and it makes them feel, you know, less homesick because somebody's bringing kind of their life to the, you know, to the base. And so it was very, uh, uh, beautiful thing to just be able to kind of like be with those guys.

[112:45-113:04]

Dustin recounts performing for special operations forces in Iraq, finding the experience both funny and rewarding.

And it was funny too. We'd do shows sometimes, it'd just be like, you know, 20 like special ops guys that got their machine guns, you know, in their laps. And I'm just like, "I hope this goes well." Oh, God. 'Cause, 'cause these guys are just ready to aim and fire any given moment. But, uh, yeah. So it was, it was a beautiful thing, man.
