Seth Voorhees has over three decades of journalistic experience under his belt. After seven years in local radio, Seth’s TV reporting career began in 1995 in the Spectrum News 1 Rochester newsroom. After 22 years, Seth moved west to report for NBC in Dallas. Just two years later, Seth returned to the Spectrum News team and is thrilled to be back in the place he has called home for over thirty years.
Seth Voorhees is a Black Hills Author, living in South Dakota. He draws on his experiences as a social worker, particularly in adolescent development and mental health, to shape his characters and their journeys through human morality and challenges. He identifies himself as a dark fiction author. He lives with his partner and stepdaughter. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in sociology and psychology from Black Hills State University.
