Do you h- uh, believe in monotheism? Do you believe there's one god? Because I, I'm under the impression that Native Americans believed in many gods. Do you believe in that idea of one god, one creator? I do.

And it's, and it's a, um, fr- again, from my position. I don't speak for all Native Americans. I only speak for me and my, my heritage, what I or we believe.

Yeah, I've never bumped into any Native Americans that believe in multiple gods. You know, um, it's just a, it's a differing, it's a different way of looking at the same thing. You know, few people understand that every Native American tribe that I've talked to, or branch, or community have all said the same things. In their stories, they talk of the Trinity, And along comes Christianity thousands of years after the native population understood the Trinity and, you know, the Native America Or the, the, um, Christian belief in Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost.

Native Americans had that long before Christ walked this Earth, Yeah.

For example, when people ask me about my faith, okay, they, they, they're kind of stunned that I'm Native American and, and a, and a deep believer in the Baby Jesus, right? And it's hard for them to get their head around. So it's easier for me to tell folks, say, to say it to folks this way, I r- I, I look for what resonates with me, meaning what parts of the Christianity pieces fit my soul and what parts of my Native American beliefs fit my soul, okay?

So there's so many parallels to any religion, if you will, that you can find what resonates with yourself. Now, let me close that loop with this. All right. Any organized religion is gonna have all kinds of flaws when you put money, power, and personality into the mix, okay? I try to tell people all the time, "If you, if you rea- if you wanna read the Bible, pay attention to what resonates with you." And know this, since Christ walked the Earth, he said, "I am within you." Okay?

Nowhere does it say you have to go to a third party or a shaman or anybody in between to communicate with Christ, Great Spirit, God, Buddha, whatever it is you, you have faith in.
