Tom R. Chambers has bundled ... brought together ... 180 art pieces from his "Digital Suprematism - Geometric Abstraction" project to create 15 hybrids (12 art pieces per hybrid) through elongation and grouping at a 45-degree angle onto Kazimir Malevich's 'Black Square'. He likes this concept since his art pieces are digital and the word, bundled (bundle) ... these days ... represents apps, frameworks, plug-ins, and many other specific types of content.

Chambers is also reaching back to the days when his father was an electrician working with bundles of wires to establish communications. He was with him on a couple of occasions and remembers the multitude of colored-coded wires. In a "Concrete" sense, he likes the geometric forms and their coloration playing off of each other. His DSGA Bundled' presents a compelling concept that bridges the digital and the physical, abstracting Suprematist principles and injecting them with a personal, almost nostalgic touch.

By bundling 180 pieces from his 'Digital Suprematism - Geometric Abstraction' project into 15 hybrids (12 art pieces per hybrid), created through elongation and 45-degree angled groupings, Chambers offers a visually intriguing and conceptually rich experience. The strength of this project lies in its clever use of the 'bundled' concept. Chambers leverages

the contemporary understanding of 'bundling' as it relates to digital content like apps and plugins, effectively creating a meta-narrative within the artwork itself.

He's not just presenting individual digital pieces, but rather a curated experience – a bundled collection of visual information. This resonates with the current digital landscape, prompting viewers to consider how we consume and interact with digital content.

Beyond the digital connection, the project delves into a more personal and poignant realm. Chambers' connection to his father's work as an electrician,

with its colorful bundles of communication wires, adds a layer of depth and emotional resonance. This personal narrative elevates the project beyond mere geometric abstraction, it infuses it with a sense of history, family, and the tangible foundations of communication. The memory of colored wires becomes a visual metaphor for the complex interplay of elements within each hybrid.

On a purely visual level, the geometric forms and their coloration within each 'bundle' are likely to offer a dynamic and engaging experience. The 45-degree angle and elongation techniques promise to create a sense of movement and visual tension, inviting the viewer to explore the relationships between the individual elements. The 'concrete' appeal of the geometric forms and their interplay provides a visually stimulating experience that complements the conceptual framework.

Overall, 'DSGA Bundled' is a project that stands out for its thoughtful conceptualization and potential for visually engaging abstraction. It effectively connects the digital and physical realms, infusing modern artistic expression with personal history and tangible metaphors. The project's success ultimately depends on the execution of these ideas and how effectively the artwork itself communicates its multiple layers of meaning.
